The New Blue Monster has been re-designed by the talented architect Gil Hanse, making it one of the most challenging golf courses in the world.
The renovation had a total cost of $250 million including the Hotel and Resort.
The course has 7,608 yards, with very difficult lay-ups and fairways with deep bunkers and greens with many undulations. One of the first things you notice on this new course is the amount of water in play, making the players hit almost perfect shots in both, direction and distance to be safe on the fairway and greens.
GOLF Magazine ranked the famous 18th Hole as one of the Top 100 Holes in the World.
We will definitely be watching the WGC been played here for a long, long time… and hopefully we will see many more memorable moments in Golf History.
