Hello Grinters! Welcome back to the “How To” series of the best Golf apps out there! It is not only a golf GPS, app for handicaps, or a Golf Score tracker, but also the Social part of Golf all together in one App!
Today we are going to dig into our Menu, those little nine dots located on the top right corner of our Home Screen.
Once you log in to the App and reach our Home Screen, the Menu is where you wanna go to find all the information you need about your account.
“My Profile” is where you wanna go if you want to see/show your QR Code, edit your My Bag, manage your Account preferences or view your scorecards. Also, you can access your own Activity Feed posts, where you can find all the pictures and videos that you posted.
The “My Handicap” tab has all the information about your Handicap, you will be able to set up your default system (WHS or GHAP). Need to switch between them or add your Handicap ID to the App? There is where you need to go.
“Friends” is pretty self-explanatory. Search for someone already on your friend list or add someone else to your inner circle. And our “Handicap Lookup” tool is a great place to check out your Course Handicap for any specific course – tee box combination. You can add players to view their Course Handicap as well.
“Courses” (build your bucket list, here’s how) is where you can Rank the courses you have played, edit your Bucket List, and browse through our golf Courses Database by ranking, location, course type, and reviews. Oh, have you heard about our golf GPS Flyover? Well, that’s the subject for an entire article, but to be short: search for the course that you want to see the GPS and tap on the target icon on its top right corner to find that amazing tool. It will help you tons.
“4Somes” to sneak in someone else’s tee time or to let people know that you have spots available to join you at that booked tee time. It’s like an Evite for golf, you don’t have to play alone if you don’t want to! We are about to improve this feature though… Stay tuned!
“Messages” is where you can chat with your friends privately. All the messages will appear right there, right on top of the Notifications, which is where you wanna go to accept friends’ requests or simply to clear up that red dot on your Home Screen and see what is going on with your TheGrint friends.
Membership is the ProShop and where you need to go if you want to manage your subscription or become a paid member.
