August News and New Features

August was a big leap for our website with two big features that will improve even more the connectivity between our community: The Activity feed in the Dashboard section and the Tours Section. There were also other new features that I will explain further in this post.

Activity Feed

We removed the graph with 5 scores and added the activity feed, which as you can see helps you keep connected on your friend's achievements (and failures). Is not fully loaded yet, but as we continue you will see how we add features to comment on it, cheer them, or share on facebook. Will keep you posted.

You can still see your 5 latest scores if you go to your profile.

Tours Section

‍
We also added a whole new feature called Tours that allows you to create exclusive groups with your friends and compete like the Pros do. Create a Tour and add events to it. Ask your friends to join and they will now have the option to post their scores under your event, which automatically ranks them within your event. Then on the Tour area you will see the avg stats of all the events for all the players and their ranking on each.

We still have many features in our pipeline like being able to create your own points system. Will keep you posted.

Invite Friends to join TheGrint
‍

Golf is better with friends, so is TheGrint. So we made it easier for you to bring your friends to TheGrint. Just type their email and invite your friends. That simple.

By the way, we transcribe the scores of your friends for FREE. We just need to know where they keep them and their username.

We launched our v2 of the iPhone app
‍

With our app you can send your Scorecard pic in seconds, so we can upload the score for you. Or track your score as you play and get the score uploaded to your profile automatically. Our Android app v2 is coming out in September. The current Android version allows you to send us your Scorecard pic.
