Unless your name is Scottie Scheffler, Pinehurst #2 is likely to rough you up.
We looked at tens of thousands of rounds played by Grinters. Here is what stood out:
Out of all 10 Pinehurst Resort courses, Grinters that play the #2 course tend to be the most skilled, with the lowest average handicap (11.3). All the other courses had an average user handicap of 12-13.
Not all of the courses are a Par 72, but if we look at the average differential across all 10 courses on the property, the #10 course is the "easiest" (15.0) followed by #6 (16.2)
The #3 course comes in as the "hardest" course(18.7 avg. differential), followed by #8 (18.3) and then #2 (17.9)
The Par 4's are the hardest (1.3 strokes over par on average) followed by Par 3's (1.2 over par)... The Par 5's are scoreable, and Grinters average 0.9 over par on these holes
