Hi Grinters! Today we’re gonna start sharing some insights about how TheGrint App works. It will be a weekly post where I will bring you information about everything that we offer within the App. From the most basic functions like posting a score, up to the most advanced features such as shot tracking and stats. Stay tuned, and don’t hesitate to ask questions and requesting specific information. ☝
So let’s start with the beginning: our Home Screen!Once you log in to the App, the first screen that you will see is our Home Screen. Right there you will see posts from yourself and your friends, as well as the shortcuts that you need to operate the App.
On the top banner you have your picture (If you don’t, please add that within your profile. It looks nice! 😎), your name, your Handicap ID, and the Handicap (or range) itself. If you swipe left over the top banner you will also be able to view your Attest %, Scoring Average, how many Friends you have, your Ranking, Trophies, Leaderboards, and Courses. You can tap on any of those circles, which will take you to the exact information.
The + sign and those nine dots on the top right corner will open to give you all the options that we have. Tap on + to post a score, play on a leaderboard, post a picture, or show/scan a friend’s QR Code to add him/her to your list.
Tap on the 9 dots to open our complete menu. There’s plenty of information right there so navigate through it and find exactly what you need.
On the bottom banner, we have Home and Stats on the left, Play in the center, and Career and PROshop (Free Member) or Insights (Pro or Pro+) on the right side.
For most grinters the most important button there will be the PLAY one; just tap on it to quickly start a round. The default course will be the closest one to your GPS coordinates, but you can always Edit Round Setup/Players to change the settings and add friends to your match. Under the Play option you also have the Play on a Leaderboard to enter or create competition, and the Unfinished Rounds List, that will have all the Rounds that you Paused and Exited. You will be able to open the scorecard to upload or delete it right from the list.
But before I forget, you can also swipe left and right on the center of the screen to see the EXPLORE FEED and your CLUB FEED. You will see a lot of cool posts right there and also get an insight into what players that belong to your club are shooting. Remember that you will only be able to view posts from accounts that are public. Private accounts will not show on those feeds.
I will teach you how to make your profile public or private another day 😉.
Hopefully, this will give you a better understanding of our Home Screen. Forward this post to your grint friend that just downloaded TheGrint App, and make sure you comment if you have questions about any of those features.
Remember: we are always here to help! 😁
